Advice & Factsheets
Our factsheets and FAQs provide information about women’s rights
in pregnancy and childbirth.
We can also advise you directly.
What we offer
We endeavour to reply promptly to all enquiries and within 2 working days.
What we don't offer
Birthrights does not provide legal representation.
We do not provide information or advice about clinical negligence claims. If you believe you have suffered negligent treatment during childbirth, you should contact a lawyer specialising in clinical negligence law.
We can not refer you to an individual solicitor or formally endorse a particular firm, but you may wish to consider contacting our partners Bolt Burdon Kemp, Irwin Mitchell or Leigh Day. While our partners support our general fundraising efforts, we receive no referral fees from any law firm if you contact them from our information. Any contact you have is completely confidential between you and the firm.
If you contact us, your enquiry will be dealt with in confidence and according to the terms of our confidentiality policy. We will not reveal information about you to any other organisation or individual without your express permission, except in certain limited circumstances. Please contact us for a copy of our confidentiality policy if you would like further details.
We strive to provide a good service to our users at all times. However, should you be unhappy with the service you have received, please contact us to discuss how we can resolve your concerns.
